Against the Odds

Okay so Lisa was really never against any 'odds' but hear is the story, Lisa's soccer team was schedualed to have the 'CHAMPIONSHIP GAME' against number seven guys team and so smack was being thrown all over the place, but not by lisa (she doesnt smack talk) so i decided to take it apon myself to throw around so smack for her (cuz i know shes got the skill to back it up :D) so we made a bet with the boys of the outcome of the game..... the losers made the winners wednesday dinners for the rest of the term..... me and mandie stole lisa's champion shirts from previous years and wore them to the game.... needless to say we saved alot of money on those dinners :D (not really but we won which is the important part)

So my Roommates and I decided to get together and go on a date. I thougt to myself (foolishly) that if i showed enthuseum then everyone else would go which would put me in the position of NOT having to go, yes i am weird in the sense that i get too nervous on 'dates' to the point where i dont even want to go.... okay off subject lets get back on, well it turns out that only ONE (out of ten) asked a date, We can always count on lisa to follow through :D so i was in a position where i had to find a date, so i was going through who i could take....... i needed someone who could and would talk and not be awkward and someone to have fun with..... Taylor! so long story short he agreed and we all had a paint fight as the activity with classic PB and J sandwiches!

So..... i have recently been a horrible blogger and i just didnt care...... well then i saw my dear friend Kylee's blog and i was like this...... mer i want a blog like hers! i know this is niave of me to think that i could POSSIBLY ever have a blog so great as hers..... well even though i cant live up to her expertise i have decided to at LEAST TRY to be like her so i will start up again and try to update you all :D

Real quick

So today i was talking to my roommate and i was sitting there and all of the sudden something falls onto my neck, this is my reaction..... AHHHHHHH (insert flaying arms and jumps here) ya i was screaming and freakin out running around and squirming, all of a sudden a bobby pin falls on the ground, it went silent and we all just look at it. I am feeling so stupid but i just start laughing at myself because of my reaction and all my roommates laughed too and it was just so funny!..... ya you probably had to be there.... :D

Daily Bits

Today was sunday and last night i decided to come back to ephriam to go to church with the roomies and attend the Draper Temple Dedication. It has been a great peaceful day for me. I woke up with a sense of happiness, walked out into the living room and saw my beautiful roommate mel reading her scriptures and i had a burst of thanksgivingness(is that even a word?) I was overcome with feelings of greatfulness and peace. We live in a time where we can earn and work for anything we want. We have the restored gospel, prophets to guide us, parents to teach us, friends all those that surround us to set an example for us. We are so blessed!

I attended the Temple Dedication today and I became even more greatful for the knowlegde that my family has been sealed in the temple for time and all eternity! I am so greatful for this blessing because with out my family I would be lost. I love them so much and would want nothing short of eternity with them. I am so greatful for that knowledge! I absolutely love the temple and the great work that is preformed inside. I am greatful for the gospel in my life and i love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ!
